FORMER IGARA EAST MP CANDIDATE ARRESTED AS WESTERN UGANDA CHOOSES YOUTH MP

Police have today afternoon arrested the former Igara east parliamentary candidate Karaka Modern at Ntare School as western Uganda youth delegates chose their MP.

 It is alleged that Modern Karaka a former ANT candidate who was an agent to FDC’s candidate Adios Denmark Beinomugisha was arrested after he failed to show his accreditation letter.

Earlier today the Regional Returning Officer Apollo Musinguzi had warned all agents without accreditation letters not to dare accessing the Ntare school polling station.

By press time Karaka Modern was being whisked on a police vehicle and taken to Mbarara Central Police Station waiting to be charged.

The Rwizi police mouthpiece ASP Samson Kasasira however refused giving details concerning Karaka’s arrest.
