FORMER MBARARA HIGH SCHOOL HEADMASTER MZEE CAN. TIBASIMWA DECLARES TO CONTEST FOR WESTERN UGANDA ELDERLY PARLIAMENTARY SEAT

The former headteacher for Mbarara high school and a seasoned politician Mzee Can. Yoram Tibasiimwa has declared his intentions to contest for Western Uganda elderly parliamentary seat on NRM ticket.
He said this yesterday in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor while in Bushenyi town.
Tibasimwa is the national chairman of the National elder persons’ council and he has been spearheading the well fare of older persons.
His initiative and advocacy for Elder persons has resulted into a monthly allowance of 25000 for every older person above 80 years all over the country.
Can. Tibasiimwa pledged to continue advocating for rights of older persons when he is elected into parliament in 2021-2026.
Cabinet has already approved it and Parliament will pass it tomorrow Aug 04, 2020.
