FORMER MINISTER FR. SIMON LOKODO IS DIED

Former Minister for Ethics and Integrity Fr. Simon Lokodo has died.

The Uganda Human Rights Commission has confirmed Lokodo who has been its member passed on this morning in Geneva, Switzerland.

“It’s with great shock and pain that we‘ve learnt of the passing on of our Honourable Member of the Commission, Fr. Simon Lokodo. He passed on this morning in Geneva Switzerland. The Commission will share details in due course. May the Almighty Rest His Soul in Eternal Peace,” a statement from the commission confirmed.

Simon Lokodo is a Ugandan politician who served as Minister of State for Ethics & Integrity in the Office of the President of Uganda since 2011.

However, Lokodo was in June dropped as minister and the latest appointment was sigh of relief to him.
