FORMER MINISTER KAJURAS MEDIATION FAILS TO TAKE OFF FOR THIRD TIME

Mediation between the former first deputy prime minister also minister for public service Henry Muganwa Kajura and businessman Abdu Ssali has failed to take off today at Masindi high court.
Ssali dragged Kajura to Masindi high court on the 25th of May 2018 accusing him of failing to vacate the land he allegedly sold to him in 2015 at a fee of 500 million Uganda shillings.
The land in question is free hold land volume 459 folio 18 block 9 plot located in Bugahya county Hoima district.
Today was the third time mediation failing to take place and the last two times neither was Kajura nor his lawyer turned up.
Simon Kasangaki from Kasangaki and Company advocates who represented Ssali told journalists at court premises that mediation failed to take off because the lawyer representing Kajura did not turn up because he was attending high court in Kampala.
He also said that Kajuras wife Regina Kajura and his daughter Shillah Kajura had turned up for court.
The mediation was supposed to be before the Masindi high court Assistant registrar, Kintu Simon Zirintusa. He adjourned the mediation to 6th December 2018.
