FORMER MINISTER KAROORO LENDS HELPING HAND TO 100 DISABLED PEOPLE IN BUSHENYI

The former minister of general duties in the office of the prime minister Mary Karooro Okurut has given soaps, basins, t-shirts, Posho to five disabled people in every sub county in Bushenyi district.
The function of handing over the items took place at her home in Katungu Bushenyi town during Christmas.
One of the beneficiaries was given dry cell lamp. She added that they were given transport and some money to enjoy their Christmas.
Karooro has been a woman Member of Parliament for 16 years until she lost to Annet Mugisha in 2020 NRM primaries.
Because of her political maturity, she never ran as an independent but decided to remain loyal to the party, doing its work.
Mary Karooro is a writer of many literature books and some of them are on syllabus at both A’level and O’ level.
