FORMER NTARE SCHOOL HEADTEACHER SUCCUMBS TO INTESTINAL CANCER, TO BE LAID TO REST TOMORROW

Relatives to Humphrey Ahimbisibwe the former head teacher Ntare school and Bweranyangi girls school have confirmed that the deceased succumbed to intestinal cancer yesterday at the age of 69 .
Humphrey was admitted at Devine mercy clinic in Rwebikoona Mbarara city but was pronounced dead yesterday after weeks of battling with the deadly cancer.
The deceased’s relatives further noted that the fallen teacher will be laid to rest tomorrow at his ancestral home in Kashaka Mbarara district.
Ahimbisibwe Humphrey was a professional physics, math teacher after he pursued his teaching practice at Makerere college school.
In 1979, he was transferred to Nyakasura School in Fortportal where he taught Physics until 1982.
In 1985, Ahimbisibwe joined Bweranyangi girls’ school in Bushenyi where he was promoted to the head of Physics department, before being promoted to deputize the head teacher.
In 1988 the deceased joined Kashaka girls’ school in Mbarara as a head teacher for 17 months.
In 1989, Ahimbisibwe was transferred to Ruhinda secondary school in Mitooma district where he spent less than a month.
He was then called by the board at Bweranyangi girls’ school to report and take over as the head teacher of the school until 1992 when he was transferred to Muntuyere high school where he was for 11 months.
In Feb.2003, Ahimbisibwe was transferred to Ntare School where he served for seven years and seven months before retiring in 2010.
