FORMER RWAMPALA MP NGABIRANO ROBBED SHS 26M

Police have arrested four all workers of woodfix Technical Services Limited following the theft of shs.26 million belonging to former MP Ngabirano.
The four suspects are currently detained at Mbarara central police station.
According to Charles Ngabirano the former member of Parliament for Rwampara ,he withdrew shs.40million from centenary cooperate bank and later banked shs.14million at Bank of Baroda.
Ngabirano explained to media,that in company of his bodyguard and the driver,they later drove to Bam classic Hotel to have lunch and left their vehicle locked and parked along Mbarara high street .He added that as they left the hotel they realized that some thugs had broke into their vehicle and stole shs.26 million that was in a parcel.
The former legislator revealed that the cash belonged to Rwampara Agro forestry group which deals in timber production.He said he reported the matter to police that started investigating the matter but the money hasn’t been recovered.
Police detectives went to the scene and arrested four street parking agents attached to woodfix Technical Services Limited who had impounded his car.
When contacted, SP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Regional Police Spokesperson about arrests,he confirmed the theft saying four people are helping detectives with investigations.
