FORMER SHEEMA DISTRICT SPEAKER KWARIJA LOSES HIGH COURT CASE

In Mbarara—

High court in Mbarara yesterday dismissed with costs a case in which the former Sheema district speaker sued the district over his ‘illegal’ dismissal.

Kwarija alleged that he was dismissed from Council after he had secured a full-time and permanent job with the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation as a Principal Science Officer.

However, Justice Joyce Kavuma the Mbarara resident Judge dismissed the case with costs on grounds of service of expired application without extension of time.
