FORT-PORTAL FDC CHAIRMAN RELEASED FROM POLICE CELL

Police in fort portal has finally released the FDC chairperson Fort portal municipality; Jorum Bintamanya on a police after spending three nights in police custody.
Jonathan Twine his brother, Herbert Migisa the chairperson south division, Mwanguhya Bashil; political assistant to Fort portal municipality Mp Alex Ruhunda,Bazira Peter the district councilor for Kichwamba sub county stood surety for him.
Bintamanya was on Tuesday morning arrested by police on allegations of inciting violence.
According to police, Bintamanya has been moving on some Radio stations in Fort-Portal, uttering abusive words while attacking the president’s personality and other leaders.
Immediately after his release, Bintamanya told www.mknewslink.com that his arrest was done to stop him from liberating the country thus vowing to continue with his straggles to rescue the country from the mafias.
Bintaanya has been one of the politicians who have opposing the amendment of article 102(b) of the 1995 constitution of Uganda under their slogan; Togikwatako.
After his release, police escorted him to his home.
