FORT PORTAL JUNIOR MAYOR TAKEN TO IGG FOR INCREASING HIS SALARY ILLEGALLY

The chairperson LC3 East division on spot light over unlawful increment of salary.

The Male councilor for East division Fort portal municipality Kabarole district Kahwa Erinam has petitioned the inspector general of government   over the way how Magezi Willy Snob the chairperson LC3 increased his salary illegally.

According to the petition seen by www.mknewslink.com reporter 15^th -09-2017 addressed to the office of the IGG, Erinem is accusing the Assistant town clerk East division to have connived with Magezi and increased his salary abnormally.

Erinem states that during the approval of the financial year 2017/2018, the division council had allocated 1,500,000 shillings as monthly salary for the chairperson however to a surprise copies of the approved budget presented to council on 1th-09-2017 reflected that his salary had increased by 300,000 shsillings that is 1,800,000shillings.

He added this evidence shows that there are many dubious transactions that are carried out in the division.

However the councilor is appealing to the IGG to intervene and investigate on the matter.
