FORT PORTAL MAYOR REV. MUHANGA SPEAKS OUT ON ALLEGED ADULTEROUS SCANDAL

Rev. Willy Kintu Muhanga the Mayor Fort Portal Municipality has refuted allegations that he was caught red handed in a sexual scandal with another man’s wife in his office.

In a communication delivered by Victor Businge, Rev. Muhanga’s Lawyer and legal advisor during a press conference, Ms. Martha the wife to Amon Balya sent a message to him on the fateful evening demanding to have a meeting with him and he proposed his office since he was finalizing some documents with the planner.

Businge said that the incident was out of malice and politically stage-managed by some of his enemies and Politicians who are against him.

Lawyer Businge said they are likely to sue the people and Amon who masterminded this plot adding that they demanded him shs150m for purportedly being in an affairs with another man’s wife.

On Monday evening at around 7:00am, Amon the husband to the implicated woman telephoned some councilors and media alleging that he had caught Rev.Muhanga red handed bonking his (Amon) wife in office. 

It’s alleged that after the incident, Amon told Mayor that he was tired of him encroaching on his wife, and demanded for his dowry so that the mayor takes her.

Meanwhile Fort-Portal police have launched investigations into the alleged adultery case and abuse of office by Fort Portal Municipality Mayor His worship Rev. Willy KintuMuhanga.

The police community liaisons officer for Rwenzori region Solomon Mugisa revealed that police has embarked on investigations following numerous public complaints that Rev.Muhanga has been engaging in sexual acts with men’s wives

He added that once investigations are complete and results come out positive, the mayor will face charges of adultery and abuse of office.
