Police in fort portal are stack with a two years old baby girl that was abandoned by her parents.
According to the Rwenzori West police spokes person Lydia Tumushabe, the baby was yesterday evening abandoned at Virika Hospital.
She was discovered a missing child after people saw her loitering around approaching everyone while crying looking for her mother.
She was handed over to the hospital administration that brought her to fort portal police after she was moved in the hospital but none of the people in the hospital claimed to be theirs.
The missing baby is putting on a dark blue blouse, a blue and white short and shoes commonly known as Kirihona.
According to Tumushabe, fort portal police have in three months discovered three abandoned children since March, May and June this year.
She has attributed this to some young girls who get unwanted pregnancies thus urging parents to talk to their children.
Tumushabe has further asked people who could know the lost kid or else she will be taken to Tooro babies home.
