FORT PORTAL WOMAN ARRESTED FOR BURNING NIECE WITH POLYTHENE BAG OVER UGX 150K

Police in Fort Portal Kabarole district are holding a woman for allegedly burning her 13 year old niece and a primary three pupil Kagote primary school Kagote Ward West division Fort portal municipality with a polythene paper.

The Rwenzori West community liaisons officer Solomon Mugisa has identified the suspect as Kembabazi Daphne a resident of Mpanga D, Kagote Ward West division Fort Portal municipality Kabarole district.

According to Mugisa on Monday last week, Kembabazi badly beat her niece accusing her of stealing 150,000shs.

She badly beat her with a piece of firewood and burning her with Kavera and nails on her legs.

According to the victim, on Monday when she was coming from school, the aunt said that she stole her money, beat her up and even stopped her from going back to school.
