FOUR ARRESTED OVER COLLEAGUE’S GRUESOME MURDER IN KABALE

In Kabale–

Police in Kabale district have arrested four people over the mysterious murder of a 32 year old man.

The deceased Justus Nkurunungi a resident of Nyabitabo village in Butanda Sub County was yesterday discovered murdered.

So far, Kigezi Region Police Spokesman Elly Maate said that they have arrested Samson Kakooza, Frank Gavamukurya, Moses Besigomwe and Daniel Nariyo who were all last seen with the deceased on June 26th 2021.

Maate said that Nkurunungi was last seen with the suspects on their way from Bushura Trading Center in Buhara Sub County late last night as they all proceeded to their respective homes.

The Police PRO said that the body was examined and several blood stained items that included dry wood, broken bricks, stones and black shoes that belonged to one of the suspects Kakooza were recovered from the scene.

The Regional PRO adds that the four have been arrested to help in investigations and a case of murder was registered at Kabale Central Police station.
