Four candidates have been nominated to contest for Ibanda Municipality mayoral seat during NRM primary elections

Mr. Moses Alimwerenga, the Ibanda district NRM Registrar has declared four candidates for the seat during nomination exercise which took place at NRM offices in Ibanda town.

These include Mr. Apollo Twine Kibeherere the incumbent, Mr. Arthur Nuwagaba Rwomushana, Ben Kakwene and Ms. Leticia Atuhaise the only female candidate.

Speaking after the nomination exercise, Mr. Alimwerenga asked all nominated candidates to wear masks whenever they are moving to solicit votes.

He urged them to use clean language as they solicit votes in a peaceful manner.
