FUFA DRUM LEAGUE MATCH DAY FOUR ENDS, TOORO LOSES AS ANKOLE REJOICES

Tooro province team moves to the third position of group D in the FUFA Drum tournament with 4points after losing 1-0 against West Nile in a return leg game played at Buhinga play grounds Fort Portal municipality Kabarole district.
Alfred Leku, a forward at Express Football Club scored the all important goal for visiting West Nile.
Soana Football Club captain who also doubles as the skipper for the Tooro Province, Timothy Musinguzi was named man of the match despite being on the losing side and was thereafter handed a plaque and cash (Shs. 100,000) by the FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo
Fredo Muhumuza, the Tooro province coach, attributed the loss on the lack of focus by the players at the end of the march.
The game was graced by the presence of the Tooro kingdom King his highness Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. as the chief guest.
Tooro province is to play with Ankole in the next fixture and West Nile will face Karamoja.
Meanwhile at kyamate play ground, Ankole over came Karamoja with a whooping 3-1 win.
The goals came from Mbarara City’s Clinton Kamugisha who scored and an equalizer after Kodet Fera of Jam football club had put karamoja ahead with one goal.
Others on the score sheet were Siraje Turyamureeba and Muhammad Matovu of Rushere FC who was the man of match.
Matovu was handed a plaque and cash amounting to ug shs 100,000 by the south Ankole Bishop Nathan Ahimbisiibwe.
