GAME RANGER MURDERS 19 YEAR OLD MAN

The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) ranger on Thursday evening (yesterday) shot dead a 19-year-old man during an operation in Masindi district.

The incident happened in Kituuka Central village, Kasenyi Parish in Pakanyi Sub County, and the deceased has been identified as Denis Jawiyambe.

Without disclosing the details, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, Julius Allan Hakiza, confirmed the incident and said the deceased was shot while they were in a game reserve burning charcoal.

He also noted that they have yet to get the details of the ranger.

By the time www.mknewslink.com filed this story, the lifeless body of Denis Jawiyambe was at Masindi district general hospital, pending a postmortem.
