GOV’T SHOULD FUND PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES—VC BISHOP DR.TIBEESIGWA.

The Vice Chancellor of Valley University of Science and Technology (VUST) Emeritus Bishop. DR. George Tibeesigwa has asked Government of Uganda to start funding Private Universities because the Host the biggest number of students in the country.
Tibeesigwa said this today June 13, 2017 in an exclusive Interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor at the University campus in Bushenyi town, Bushenyi district.
Bishop noted that about three quarters of students who are studying in universities are in Private ones therefore government should consider funding private universities because they compliment government education policies.
Dr.Tibeesigwa who is an educationist and has worked at Uganda Christian University and also founded Bishop Barham University College- Kabale noted that Uganda has over 30 universities and few government ones this should be a basis of the government and therefore should learn that its Private universities which are doing a bigger Job than government ones.
Valley University opened on 29th January2017 which include Bachelor of Agri-Business Management and Rural development, Bachelor of science in Information Technology, Bachelor of arts in Education Primary and secondary, Certificate in information Technology among others.
