GOVT TO INSTALL CCTV CAMERAS IN ALL OFFICES TO CATCH BOSSES WHO SEXUALLY HARASS FEMALE WORKERS—MINISTER KAROORO

The minister in charge of general duties in the office of the Prime Minister Hon Mary Karooro Okurut has said that government will install cctv’s cameras in all work places to curb sexual harassment of female employees by their bosses.
Karooro made the remarks while speaking as a chief guest at PIBID[Presidential Initiative on Banana industrial Development] yesterday as they celebrated world labour day at the factory in Bushenyi town
“Sex harassment has become a big problem in Uganda today at our work places, and offices. As government, we are looking forward to curbing down the vice. We shall arrest and prosecute all the abusers”.
The Bushenyi district woman mp also noted that workers should follow their professional ethics while exercising their day today works. Karooro also warned workers who leave behind coats in chairs and move out of their offices

PIBID staff matching through Bushenyi town yesterday during celebrations to mark international labour day.
The executive director Rev Dr Florence Isabirye Muranga in a speech read for her by her deputy Mr.Joseph Bahati said the industry is in line of producing quality products from bananas and they are working closely with farmers in Bushenyi and emphasized more on the theme of the day which was “Building our Nation through Good work ethics” Dr Muranga said in her speech.
