GOV’T TO SOON INCREASE ITS EDUCATION LOAN SCHEME PROJECT

The state minister for planning and Economic Development David Bahati said that the Government is in its final stages of increasing its loan scheme Project to enable students acquire education.
Minister David Bahati said this while representing the Prime minister Dr. Livingstone Ruhakana Rugunda as the guest of honor on the 20th graduation ceremony of 409 Bishop Barham University graduands that was held at the university grounds yesterday 11th/10/2019.
He noted that the government is working hard to increase on loan scheme project so that students without ready cash can study and then pay later.
In his speech Bahati said that government has done its part of providing a free and good environment where everyone can do any business of his/her choice so graduates should apply the Knowledge they have acquired from the college to start their own business.
The chancellor of Uganda Christian University and the outgoing Archbishop of the church of Uganda His grace Stanley Ntagali thanked the parents for their commitment in paying the dues for their children.
He challenged the graduands to use the knowledge they got from the college to earn a living.
