GREATER KABALE DISTRICT MP’S JOIN LOCALS TO GANG AGAINST DAILY POWER CUTS BY UMEME

The kabale District woman MP Hon Atwakiire Catherine Ndamira has joined the locals to gang against the daily power cuts in kabale District without proper explanation.
Ndamira revealed these before General Muhoozi Keinerugaba at the Gatuna-katuna Border reopening thanksgiving ceremony which was held at lower Bugongi primary school in Northern Division kabale municipality.
Addressing the public, the Kabale District woman MP showed concern on how the business have been stranded due to unstable power supply within the district.
Ndamira requested Kabale District to be connected on the Rwanda power line which is always on.
The Rubanda District woman MP Hon Akampurira Mbabazi Prossy said that power blackouts in kigezi sub region most especially in Rubanda has contributed to law local Revenue collection as most of the business which entirely depend on electricity like saloons, welding among others are stranded.
The Rukiga District woman MP Hon Kamusiime Caroline Muhwezi showed fear of students failing their exams as a result of not reading.
Kamusiime urged for immediate intervention before the situation worsens.
Efforts to get a comment from the Kabale District UMEME branch manager was all in vain as he could not pick up all his known phone.
