GRIEF IN IBANDA AS LCIII SWORN IN CHAIRMAN PERISHES IN ACCIDENT

In Ibanda—

The recently sworn in chairman LC III for Kagongo Division Ibanda Municipality Aggrey Mushabe has today morning perished in a fatal accident.

Mushabe was knocked dead by a running vehicle at Kashuuku road in Ibanda Municipality as he traveled on his government motorcycle.

According to eye witnesses, Mr. Mushabe who was riding himself on a motor cycle was crushed from behind by a Fuso Lorry and he died instantly.

The driver of the speeding car FUSO UAY 479S has since run into hiding and it is suspected that he was drunk.

However, another eye witness James Mugisha a Boda Boda raider said Mushabe was riding while answering calls on his phone.

SP Emilly Angomoku the Ibanda District Police Commander attributed the accident to over speeding by the driver though there were human errors from both sides; driver and the deceased.

By the time www.mknewslink.com filed this story, the body of the deceased was lying at Ruhoko Health Center IV and the report indicates that he succumbed to head injuries.
