HELP GOVT TO FIGHT CORRUPTION, BUSHENYI RDC TELLS IGARA EAST DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION MEMBERS

Bushenyi resident district commissioner Mr. Robert Atuhairwe has called upon members of a newly formed association to help him fight corruption in government departments in the constituency.
Igara East development association [IEDA] has been formed by Igara East leaders as one way of establishing development in the area.
The function to adopt the constitution was held at College view hotel in Nyakabirizi BUshenyi district.
He noted that there are many government programs that need whilsal blowing therefore he called up on members of the new association to help in fighting corruption in government projects in the area.
The association members chaired by Mr Anthony Katwarana adopted the constitution and resolved to register as a CBO, open a Bank account in centenary Ishaka branch.
Members also elected leaders where Anthony Katwarana became chairman, Silver Byabashaija vice chair, Rose and Kironded were elected secretary and treasurer respectively among others.

Bishop Katoneene and Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha were appointed patrons and were all in attendance.
Hon. Annet Katusiime Mugisha hailed Bushenyi teachers and leaders for the continuous excellent performance at the two levels of primary seven and s4. She requested them to keep it up.
Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha MD national water and sewerage corporation advised association members that patrons are not allowed to fundraise for associations,They are there to give guidance.
Emeritus Bishop Yona Mwesigwa Katoneene hailed the earlier interim executive committee to think about him and appoint him patron.
He prayed for the Association to grow into a powerful organization that will develop Igara East strongly.
