HIV STILL EXISTS, DON’T PUT ALL YOUR EFFORTS ON CORONA VIRUS, TAKE YOUR DRUGS—GUMISIRIZA

The Bushenyi distict HIV networks forum Programs coordinator has urge people living with HIV not to only concentrate on Corona virus and they forget to go to health facilities for their drugs .
Nobert Gumisiriza sounded the advice while talking to www.mknewslink.com reporter at his office in Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality.
Dr. Gumisiriza advised people to be calm and be aware that Corona virus came and will again go thus cautioned families with people living with HIV to keep reminding them to take drugs in time and to collect their drugs on their dates of appointments.
He further encourage patients to make sure that they follow the Corona Virus preventive guidelines at the facility such as hand washing , avoiding hand shaking and over crowding.
He appealed to the service provider to consider people living with HIV while giving out the services and also requested the government to first consider people living with HIV in case of distribution of commodities like protectives ,drugs , foods and other items .
He noted that People who came from outside the district and are living with HIV can also visit facilities with their documents to collect drugs.
