HOIMA: WOMAN STABS 17 YEAR OLD NEIGHBOR FOR PLAYING HOOFERS ON HIGH VOLUME

Police in Hoima district are investigating circumstances under which a 28 years old woman allegedly stabbed a 17 year old girl with a knife.
Police has identified the deceased as Fatuma Kambo, a resident of Mpogo in Sironko district who was staying with her sister who works as security guard with Pinaco Security Company in Hoima.
The late Fatuma was announced dead shortly after reaching Hoima regional hospital where she was rushed to receive treatment.
When news of the murder spread out, a large mob gathered and attempted to lynch the woman, but she was rescued by police and currently detained at Hoima central police station.
She has been identified as Phiona Manishimwe, a Rwandese who has been working in a diary which is next to the room where the deceased has been sleeping in Lusaka lower western ward Kahoora division in Hoima Municipality.
According to Abdukareem Mwesige, a resident, the duo developed quarrels four days back as Phiona accused the deceased of playing music at high Volume of the Sub woofer saying it was causing a lot of noise.
Albertine region police publicity ASP Julius Hakiza Allan confirmed the news saying that the suspect will be produced in court to answer charges of murder when they complete investigations.
