HOLY INNOCENT BABIES’ HOME IBANDA HAILS PUBLIC FOR SUPPORT

The management of Holy Innocent Babies’ Home in Ibanda municipality council has hailed the Church, NGOS and well wishers for supporting orphans.
Holy innocent babies’ home takes care of vulnerable children who have been abandoned by their own parents and those that lose their mothers during birth.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com yesterday, the Director Sr. Fausta Twinomugisha revealed that Holy Innocent Babies’ home is currently caring for 20 babies. Out of these, 12 are males while eight are females aged between three weeks and three years and there are four pairs of twins.
She confirmed that the future of these babies is bright because they are getting good Samaritans who donate necessities such as food, clothes, mosquito nets, soap, shoes, milk, blankets and kit for sporting activities.
She thanked good Samaritans from a broad who have taken a good initiative of legally adopting twelve children.
Holy Innocent Babies’ home was established in 1967 by Mbarara Archdiocese with an aim of helping babies whose parents abandon or are dead and it has helped over one thousand of children who are later legally adopted by families
