HON. KAMATEKA’S MOTHER DIES AT 101 YEARS

Tophius Kendaba a mother to Mitooma District Woman MP Jovah Kamateeka has died at Kampala International University hospital western campus Ishaka-Bushenyi District at on 16^th Nov. 2019 at around 3:00am.

This bad News was today 17^th Nov.2019 confirmed by the Ruhinda constituency Mp. captain Dononzio Mugabe Kawonda.

Captain Kawonda said that the late Tophus Kendaba who has been battling with a yet to be known disease for a couple of time died at the age of 101.

He described her as a woman who has lived exemplary in life by educating all her children hence inspiring other parents to take theirs to school and that she was also Canon in church of Uganda.

He also said that the speaker of the parliament of Uganda Hon. Rebecca Kadaga is expected to attend the burial ceremony as the chief mourner.

According to sources, the Burial will take place in Mitooma Town Council on Monday 18th November 2019 starting with the send off prayer to the late at St. Philips Church of Uganda at 10:00AM.
