The former minister for general duties in the prime minister’s office and senior presidential advisor on media and public affairs Mary Karooro Okurut said God never willed her success in the race for Bushenyi district woman MP but life must continue.
Minister Karooro said this today 6th Oct.2022 at all saints greater in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com MD after a service where she was a chief guest.
She noted that despite the fact that she never went through as a woman MP for Bushenyi, life must continue because it doesn’t stop at elections but goes further than that.
She asked all contestants who lost in the 2021 elections to cool their hearts and let life continue peacefully.
At All Saints’ church the Kimeza group led the service and contributed 600,000 towards the projects of the church while the chief guest Hon. Karooro contributed 1,000,000.
While preaching, the chairman of the Ekiimeza group Pison Mugizi asked Christians to unite and avoid unnecessary fights since a happy family is a happy church as well as a happy country.
Pison Mugizi who has been a synod member for 17 years in West Ankole diocese preached while Christians kept clapping as the word moved down to their hearts.
He is also head of laity and synod member for Kibare parish, Nyakabirizi division West Ankole diocese.
The archdeacon of All Saints greater Bushenyi Bethel Namara hailed Ekiimeza group for giving back to the church and leading a successfully church service with timely and special preacher who touched the Christians hearts.
