HON. TIBASIIMWA CELEBRATES 80TH BIRTHDAY, 40 YEARS IN MARRIAGE

The member of parliament for elderly western Uganda Hon. Joram Tibasiimwa Ruranga yesterday 6th May 2023 held a thanks giving to celebrate his 80th birthday and 40 years in marriage with his wife Ms. Lois Tibasiimwa.

The function took place at Rubingo COU in West Ankole Diocese Bushenyi district.

The church service was presided over by Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni the Bishop of West Ankole Diocese and in attendance was also the Emeritus Bishop of the same diocese Mwesigwa Yona Katoneene.

Bishop Johnson preached about people to remember the churches were they are born and giving back to them.

Hon. Tibasiimwa organized the thanks giving as well as the fundraising for whatever came out to be used to complete the church of God.

Approximately 100 million was collected in cash to complete Rubingo church of Uganda which is under construction.

Hon. Tibasiimwa bought first class food that he served all the people who came to church as well as a colorful reception to the few dignitaries whom he hosted at his home.

Hon. Tibasiimwa thanked God who took him through a hard life during bad governments where many prominent Ankole people died.

Among the dignitaries who attended the function included the Managing director NWSC Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha, MP Rwampara East Hon.

Tusiime Karuhanga, Hon. Mwijukye Buhweju distrist, Amb. Dr. Richard Nduhura, Amb. Franklin Katungwe, Hon. Derrick Kabuura, Hon. Nathan Itungo, Prof. Bazeyo among others.
