HOUSE FIRE KILLS TWO TODDLERS IN KAKOBA, MBARARA

Two toddlers have been burnt to death in a house fire in Kakoba, Alliance Mbarara city south.
The two toddlers; a boy and a girl aged 2 and 1.5 respectively were in the house alone as their mother only identified as Justine had gone to buy charcoal.
Hassan Mubiru a Boda Boda rider who moved the two out of the house told www.mknewslink.com that he was taking a passenger at around 02:00Pm in the afternoon yesterday when Residents called him to rescue the kids from the burning house.
Mubiri added that he found the two toddlers sleeping on a mattress and took them out but were in critical conditions.
The two toddlers were rushed to Mbarara regional referral hospital for treatment but were pronounced dead yesterday evening.
By the time we filed this story police were yet to give a comment on the matter. The two bodies of the deceased were taken to Isingiro District at Mile 17 for a decent burial.
