HUNDREDS THRONG TO IBANDA FOR FINAL SEND OFF OF VETERAN WARDER BURAKAARE

Hundreds on Tuesday thronged to Nyinendugu cell in Ibanda municipality to pay their last respect to veteran Warder who worked as a guard in different government prisons in Western Region.
Yoramu Burakaare82, died on Sunday at Mbarara Referral hospital after battling with complications from his organs in the abdomen.
James Mugisha, the Chief financial officer in Kabale district also son to the deceased described Burakaare as a calm and patient person who left a legacy of educating all his children.
Other mourners who included friends and employees from Kabale and Ibanda districts described the late Butakaare as a generous and kind hearted-man who wished every one well.
The Diocesan Executive Secretary, North West Ankole Diocese of Ibanda district, Rev. Jackson Katungi described the deceased as a God fearing person who has contributed much to the development of the diocese citing the building of St. James Ruhoko church of Uganda using his personal resources.
He was a strong pillar in the church. Most of the times many Christians could consult him on issues to do with the church matters. His death is a big blow to the diocese. I ask fell Ugandans to emulate this great man. Rev. Katungi said.
The late Burakaare left eleven children and over 500 grand children. His body was laid to rest at Nyinendugu in Ibanda municipality.
