HUNDREDS TURN UP FOR FREE MEDICAL SERVICES AT KABALEGA HEALTH CAMP

Hundreds of residents in Masindi district yesterday thronged Kabalega secondary school to access free medical services at a health camp organized by Kabalega Secondary School old Boys Association (KASSOBA).
KASSOBA organized a three days health camp at Kabalega secondary school grounds and it has commenced today with hundreds of people receiving free health care services.
Many people got services like Cancer screening, HIV testing, family planning services, safe male circumcision, health education among others.
Tonny Richard Mugenyi, the chairperson KASSOBA also chief Materials engineer in the ministry of works said that they partnered with different organizations like Masindi hospital, Infectious Disease Institute (IDI), TASO, Mengo hospital, Red Cross, Mulago hospital among others.
He also explained that they organized it as a way to give back to the community, market Kabalega SS and bring together the OBs of Kabalega SS.
Launching the three day health camp, the Prime minister Bunyoro Kitara kingdom, Andrew Byakuatga called upon different stake holders from Bunyoro sub region to work hard and ensure that Kabalega SS is restored noting that the school is in a pathetic situation.
