I DID NOT STEAL RUHARO PRESIDENTIAL SACCO MONEY—FORMER MANAGER BYARUGABA

The former manager of Ruharo presidential SACCO Mr. Aulerian Byarugaba has come out to reveal that he did not steal the SACCO money as its being alleged by politicians and residents of the area.
“I left 30 million on the SACCO account by the time I left in 2017,” Byarugaba told www.mknewslink.com editor today morning.
He added that he handed over every property that was in his hands that belonged to the SACCO.
“I worked at the SACCO for only 2 years and by the time I started work, the president’s contribution of 120 million was already taken by members in loans,” He added.
He added that those leaders who are alleging that he stole 170 million from the SACCO will prove it in courts of law.
“Am going to take them to court to prove that I stole the above amount,†He said.
Byarugaba noted that his services at the SACCO were terminated and handed over everything that belonged to the SACCO
A pressure group led by Aloyzious Nshemerirwe called two meetings of members to discuss the future of their SACCO.
The Member of Parliament for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Gordon Arinda Cowboy attended one of the meetings and gave his advice to members.
According to sources, the SACCO has only 178,000 out of 380 million it had before it got problems.
