IBANDA BODA BODA RIDER NOMINATED FOR 2021 PARLIAMENTARY RACE

A bodaboda rider in Ibanda Municipality Council, Ibanda district was on Friday nominated to contest for the area parliamentary seat.
Nathan Agaba of Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) told our reporter that it is his first time to stand for a political position but hopes to win in the 11th parliamentary elections of 2021.
Nathan Agaba operates his business as a Bodaboda rider at the University stage near Ibanda University in Bufunda division, Ibanda municipality.
“ I want to show the people of Ibanda municipality that I am able to win because I have been voting for others, now it is my time to be voted for collect the views of the people in Ibanda municipality and take them to parliament,”Agaba said in jovial mood.
“As soon as the Electoral Commission releases the road map 1 will start to solicit votes from the voters who promised me to send me in Parliament. I will follow the COVID – 19 regulations set by the Ministry of Health in the country,” Agaba added.
At least 19 people were nominated to compete for the parliamentary seats from Ibanda municipality, Ibanda South, Ibanda North and woman Member of Parliament.
