IBANDA LEADERS WARNED AGAINST BEING PARTISAN

Newly elected leaders of Ibanda Municipality have been called upon to use their offices to deliver better services to the people without sidelining according to parties
Northwest Ankole Diocesan Dean, Rev. Tito Bakahumura made this call while addressing a congregation during the thanksgiving service of newly elected Ibanda Municipality Mayor, Apollo Twine Kibeherere in KashakaII cell, Lugazi ward, Ibanda Municipality.
He noted that the public needs better services which leaders should provide accordingly.
Rev Fr. John Baptist Turyaheebwa, a priest of Ibanda Kagongo Catholic parish urged the newly elected leaders to start up some developmental projects and shun segregation, while delivering services
to the people.
Meanwhile, Apollo Kibeherere hailed the former Ibanda town council leadership formerly led by Deusdedit Mulinde for the work done and appealed for Unity.
