IBANDA MUNICIPALITY MP TIPS RESIDENTS ON TAPPING MONEY

Ibanda Municipality M P Tarsis Rwaburindoore has urged residents of Kyereeta and Kyaruhanga cells in Kagongo division to grow different crops like coffee, maize, fruits in their compounds.
He noted that with these different types of crops,they will be able to tap more income from different sources.
Rwaburindoore was yesterday speaking to 30 farmers and local
council leaders from Kyereeta and Kyaruhanga cells in Kagongo
division who visited Beter Ranch in Bisheeshe division ,Ibanda
municipality.
These fruits and fish are good for health, but also for your daily
income, Rwaburindoore said.
He added that many men women and youth in the Municipality have received fruit trees like mangos, oranges from OWC which he stressed will not only provide shades, but as well bring in income, timber and fire wood.
He urged the participants not to be selfish with the skills and
knowledge acquired at the one day Beter ranch training ,but requested
them to share the good news to other people in their respective cells and
make sure that the good message reaches everybody.
“I am very sure most of you are very changed farmers now. You are now
ambassadors of farming and you are equipped with basic life skills.This should not end here,” Rwaburindoore emphasized.
