IBANDA STRANDED STUDENTS RECEIVE FOOD RELIEF FROM DISTRICT COVID 19 TASK FORCE

Ibanda District Corona Virus task force has provided food to 36 students who are stranded in Ibanda district because of the lock down.
Students who have been starving say they do not have money to buy food. thus have been surviving by God’s mercy in the hostels and rented houses.
The Resident District commissioner ,Ibanda district, Eliasto confirmed that all the students and garage boys from the remote districts who are stranded in Ibanda district have been given food with the help of district task force.
Akatuheebwa noted that the good Samaritans ,government and religious organizations are continuing to supply in food relief and hand them to task force to support those who are in need such as elderly and others. “This food will benefit orphans ,widows, people with disabilities ,poor ones and elderly in Ibanda district,†Akatuheebwa said.
