IBANDA UNIVERSITY SEEKS UGX3.5BN LOAN TOWARDS COMPLETION OF LECTURE ROOMS

Ibanda University officials have asked UDB to avail it with a loan of Ugx3.5bn for development towards completion of constructing its stolid lecture rooms block which is under construction current.
Mr. Jeeb Rwomushana, the chairman BOGs University said that the money will help to complete the second phase of the construction block as the first phase of the block has been finished.
He explained that a team of officials from UDB head office has visited the university to assess the volume of work and promised to do the needful for completion of the 2nd and 3rd building block that will be finished as soon as the money is availed to the university.
He noted that the lecture rooms are more vital and necessary because the student’s population has increased to 1800 students who are taking degrees, diplomas and certificate courses.
Mr. Romushana was addressing students and lecturers during the swearing in function of incoming guild council recently at the university campus which is situated at Bubaare hill in Ibanda Municipality.
“I assure you students that the university Bus which was promised by the President H.E Yoweri Museveni when he visited Ibanda University has been approved .Therefore it will be handed over to the university soon when the president’s office releases it officially. I am informing you in advance that it will be ready during 3rd graduation ceremony that will take place before this year ends”, Mr. Rwomushana told the happy student.
