IBANDA UNIVERSITY TO INTRODUCE COURSE FOR FIGHTING CORRUPTION

The vice chancellor Ibanda University Prof Emmanuel Karooro has revealed that the university is to introduce bachelor of ethics and integrity in the next academic year 2020/2021 to help Ugandans fight corruption.
He also accessed that Uganda is facing unemployment which needs creative minds adding that they will also introduce bachelor of entrepreneurship to expose students to business ideas which will enable them to create their own jobs.
Prof. Karooro was speaking to www.mknewslink.com in an interview after graduation for Ibanda University that was held at the campus premises in Bufunda ward Ibanda Municipality yesterday.
He noted that with the bachelor of ethics and integrity course, the university will produce citizens who are ethically proper and full of integrity thus will not involve in corruption vices.
Prof.Karooro revealed that they are setting up a building that will house chemistry lab, agriculture lab and they have set up a studio to enable mass communication students study well.
He hailed Dr. Abel Mucunguzi former deputy vice chancellor for introducing systems on how the University could work since it was starting.
Prof. Vanansius Baryamureeba the chancellor noted that Ibanda University is spearheading training of primary teachers who the government is considering giving first priority as it is soon wiping out grade III teachers.
