IGARA EAST VOTERS LAND ON MAWANDA’S TRICK OF SPONSORING MARTIAL TO DIVIDE KARUKIIKO’S VOTES

Igara East voters have revealed that they have landed into a trick by the incumbent MP also NRM flag bearer Michael Mawanda Maranga of sponsoring Andrew Martial to divide Dan Karukiiko’s voters.

 Sources who talked to www.mknewslink.com on confidentiality say that Mawanda is demanding from Martial 800M shillings; rising from costs in a case where Mawanda defeated Martial in court of appeal 2017.   

For that matter therefore, Mawanda gave Martial an option of contesting in primaries and pay his 800m or to abandon primaries then contests as an independent so that he could divide his former closest friend’s votes Dan Mugura Kakiiko.

www.mknewslink.com tried to calling Andrew Martial to clarify on the above accusations but said he was in a meeting promising to call back though he has not called back after almost two hours.

Dan Mugura Karukiiko confirmed to www.mknewslink.com in a phone interview that its true, Martial is not in the race to win an election but to divide his votes.

He noted that this trick won’t work out for Martial and Mawanda since his campaign team has already learnt of that and is ably explaining to Igara East voters.

As usual, Mawanda’s 12 known mobile telephone numbers were off by the time of this publication.

Igara East has reasonable number of Catholics who would never vote either Mawanda or Karukiiko who are Protestants which means that since Mawanda is an incumbent it would disadvantage Karukiiko.

However, Karukiiko vows that the above trick will not work because Igara East voters are already aware it and are ready to discard come 14^th Jan.2021.
