IGG ARRESTS THREE MITOOMA SENIOR OFFICERS, ONE ON RUN

The office of the Inspector General of Government IGG has today 7^th Oct.2019 morning arrested and transferred to Kampala three official of Mitooma district on charges of corruption while the forth is still on run.

The arrested have been identified as Amon Byamugisha the principal human resource officer of Mitooma district service commission, Saverino Beyendeza the District Community Development Officer DCDO, Sarah Kiconco CDO Katenga Sub County while Onesmus Agaba is still on run.

The three were arrested today morning after holding a meeting with IGG representative south western Uganda Okechi and other stakeholders.

According to Williams Kasoro the deputy RDC Mitooma it is alleged that Saverino received two million on 0772988898 from Sarah Kiconco to give her a job as the CDO Katenga Sub County

It is also alleged that Byamugisha got 2.02million from Onesmus Agaba, 2.5 million from Kereth Atamba to give them jobs as Human Resource officer and procurement officer respectively.

The IGG team ordered the CAO to immediately interdict the 3 who were arrested.

The charge sheet is ready for the arrested to appear before anti corruption court in Kampala tomorrow.

The IGG officials had also invited the former deputy CAO for Mitooma who is now serving in Bunyangabu David Betega and the principal Human resource honest Bamanyisa to answer to some queries.

However the two; Honest and David were for now not arrested as they are still being investigated.
