The office of the Inspector General of Government in Mbarara has recommended that Rubirizi district CAO submits the senior accounts assistant Dinah K. Namanya to district service commission for dismissal.
This came after investigations carried out by the IGG on the alleged possession of forged academic documents by Dinnah turned out positive.
According to a report of the investigations, Dinnah Namanya obtained employment with Rubirizi local government as an account assistant on a basis of a forged diploma certificate from Uganda College of Commerce and degree from Uganda Pentecostal University Fort portal.
The report says that Moses Bwambale the acting registrar UCC Kabale agreed that Dinnah was a true student of the college but the results indicated on the transcript in her possession did not match those by the examining body.
It further states that Dinnah was admitted at the Uganda Pentecostal University according to the registrar Noel Twinomujuni but never graduated thus the said documents presented by Dinnah were not issued by the university.
With all the above, the IGG recommended that Dinnah K. Namanya be dismissed by District Service commission and advised that the OC CID Rubirizi takes up the matter with a view of prosecuting Ms Dinnah K. Namanya of using forged diploma certificate to obtain employment at the district.
