In Bushenyi—
Increase crime in Bushenyi has been attributed to child neglect by the parents who have failed to live exemplary to their children.
According to Bbosa, who was presiding over a chief magistrates court session today at Bushenyi court, the way parents behave has contributed a lot on increased crime in the district and the country at large.
He noted this while handling a case of two women from Kitookye in Bushenyi town where one failed to pay back money he had borrowed from another which led to a fight.
Bbosa wondered how such parents will teach their children to be honest, trustworthy and respect themselves among other characters while they are not.
He added that habits like over drinking of alcohol which the young ones copy from their fathers, mothers and the community at large has also contributed to crime increase.
Bbosa says that some people will always be in and out of prison because they cannot stop the cause but rather repeat what took them to the cells the previous times.
