Police spokesperson for greater Bushenyi; SP Martial Tumusiime has identified the suspect in detention as Sulait Bafaki commonly known as Transport who allegedly had canal knowledge with an underage girl.
Bafaki ; a bar attendant allegedly committed the offence in Ishaka division.

Magistrate courts cannot hear criminal cases in absence of state prosecutors.
Prosecutors under their umbrella (UAP) announce a strike by laying down their tools demanding a salary increment.
However mister of public service Muruli Mukasa says there is no money in the government coffers to cater for the prosecutors’ salary increment.
He warned them recently to either call off their strike or else they resign from their duty.
