ISRAELITES GIVE HELPING HAND TO BUSHENYI DISABLED CHILDREN

In Bushenyi—–
Pupils of Bushenyi primary school- Ruhandagazi in Bushenyi –Ishaka Municipality have a reason to smile after receiving free scholastic materials from Helpapp; a charity Organfroization based in Israel.
Help app which spent about two weeks at the school gave donated mattresses, school bags, clothes, shoes to pupils. They also offered services like extending electricity, painting, and construction playing kits.
In her speech, Rotem Dahan; the manager Help app, expressed her appreciation towards the love showed to them by the school management, thus pledging her continuous support to the school and Uganda as a whole.
Dahan also appealed to Ugandans to value children more as it is done in Israel especially those with disabilities and give them hope that there are people who care about them.
Annah Tumubwiine, inspector of schools for Bushenyi – Ishaka municipality, challenged Ugandans to take an example of Israel and develop a heart of helping and giving saying that this will even add blessing in their lives. She thanked help app and urged them not to give up in their services.
Peace Kyobutungi; the head teacher Bushenyi primary school, while handing in a certificate of appreciation to the manager Help app, thanked the organization for their services, thus challenging the authorities not to relax but maintain and sustain these services.

She however, called upon Ugandans not to under look people with disabilities saying that disability is not inability.
The function was attended by the town clerk central division Mr. Andrew Mugabe among other dignitaries.
Bushenyi primary school, formally known as Bushenyi centre for the disabled is a school teaching children with both physical and mental disabilities.
