IT IS TOO LATE FOR NRM TO RECONCILE—FORMER DEPUTY RDC NZEIRWE

In Kabale
Kabale LCV Aspirant Denis Nzeirwe has rejected the National Resistance Movement – NRM’s call for Reconciliation.
Nzeirwe was one of the people who attended the NRM reconciliation meeting that was held at White horse inn Kabale in Kabale town yesterday.
Nzeirwe was recently nominated as an independent candidate after losing the NRM Election to Nelson Nshangabashaijja alias Baba Baba Taata Taata Rubandamayonza.
Nzeirwe said the reconciliation came too late so pulling out of the race would be letting down their supporters.
He added that the primary elections where infiltrated and religious based so he is ready to remain an independent candidate despite being a former RDC and NRM cadre.
President Museveni, in a message read for him by Tweheyo asked the District NRM Chairpersons to lead the reconciliation drive in their area by re-uniting with Political opponents in the party to avoid weakening the party.
Tweheyo further blamed the registrars for irregularities that happened in the NRM primaries.
Beatrace Rwakimari urged independents to cooperate and support flag bearers like she did to move the party forward because the party is bigger than individuals.
However the Kabale RDC Darius Nandinda said that it doesn’t make sense for someone to stand as independent and support president Museveni who is the national NRM chairman.
