JAFARIS’ VICE IN TROUBLE AS KAMUKAMA VOWS TO UNSEAT HIM FROM KYEIZOOBA SUB COUNTY COUNCILOR-SHIP

Kyeizooba sub county district councilor who doubles as Bushenyi district vice chairman Mr. Mugume Peter Ndyahooza is experiencing sleepless nights after a kampala based accountant but a resident of Bweera parish in Kyeizooba declared that he will challenge and defeat him in 2020 NRM party primaries for the above seat.

Mr.David Kamukama Matiri aged 54 has declared his intentions fully to take on vice chairman Ndyahooza in the next  NRM 2020 primaries.

He said these in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com  editor at the company headquarters in Bushenyi town.

Kamukama noted that education services in Kyeizooba Sub County have drastically dropped to an extent that most schools are getting grade Us for instance Nyamitooma Primary school in Buyanja Parish Kyeizooba Sub county got grade U’s in 2018 PLE exams.

He also added that Kyeizooba sub county used to be a model in education, performing excellently but it is a shame that now it has dropped saying that he wants to come in and intervene to ensure that Kyeizooba education standards become great again.

Kamukama said that he also wants to create a forum to bridge a gap between the young generation and old people like former clerk parliament to Ernest Tandekwire, Eng. Besigirwoha, Mzee Rweyare among others.

However, Mr. Kamukama is not new in Bushenyi politics, he contested for NRM district chairperson against the tycoons Late Muhangi and Hassan Bassajjabala in 2010 where he lost but came out with good results.

He also promised to lobby for electricity extension to Kyeizooba sub county parishes like Bwera, Buyanja and Kitagata.
