JANAT MUSEVENI AIDE’S TORMENTOR ARRESTED IN KABALE

Police in Kabale district have arrested 19 years old man for allegedly stabbing a Special Forces Command Soldier in Kabale municipality.
The suspect; Joshua Tusingwire (19) a driver, is a resident of Muhamya village, Nyarwanya parish Rubaare Sub County in Ntungamo district.
He is alleged to have stubbed and injured an SFC soldier Stephen Kangiriho in the stomach on the night of 02nd May 2018.
Kangiriho was among the advance team of soldiers guarding the Minister
for Education and Sports, First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni as she officiated at Open Day of Kabale University in
Kabale district.
The two developed a misunderstanding while they were for a social night at Califonia P and J transit hotel along the highway at Kigongi cell Kabale Municipality.
The victim was first rushed to Kabale hospital before he was referred to Mbarara hospital where he received treatments.
The Kigezi Region Police spokesperson Elly Maate said that the suspect was arrested yesterday from his hideout in Kanyahunde village Nyarwanya parish Rubaare in Ntungamo district.
Maate said that the suspect will be arraigned before courts of law once inquiries are complete.
