Jubilee SACCO Limited a church founded financial institution under West Ankole proven excellent in meeting their goals throughout the year despite COVID pandemic.
Kenneth Matsiko the SACCO general manager said they have tried to hit the budget through increasing membership, shares, savings, capital, loan portfolio and total assets.
He said this while giving an Annual Report for the financial year 2021 during a 26th Annual General meeting held at Tuzza hotel, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality, Bushenyi district.
Jonas Tumwine the chairman Board of Directors (B.O.D) noted that Jubilee being a Church founded institution, it has put God first in everything the reason why they are performing well in serving their clients adding that they not only address money but also feelings.
Jubilee as a Sacco with a difference extends its financial services with passion from all their workers believing that their money will yield a lot of profits and meet different targets to both sides.
Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Jane Asiimwe Muhindo who was chief guest encouraged members to put in more efforts and bring more members to join so as to increase profits and support the development of the SACCO.
Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Johnson Twinomujuni asked members to love education, embrace salvation in their hearts and work harder for their betterment.
“This SACCO will prepare for your retirement, so have a good house, secure enough money, make good relationships,” he added.
Though the Sacco has performed better, it has been challenged with defaulters, death of their beloved members, and stiff competition from other SACCOs which give loans without shares, plus ever increasing government taxes, according to the chairman.
The SACCO is looking forward to increasing membership to 2600 by the next financial year, making Ishaka outreach into a Branch, and increasing capacity building and training of staff members across all branches.
Jubilee SACCO has five Branches in; Kabwohe, Ndekye, Kashenshero, Kitagata and Bushenyi main branch.
