KABAGARAME PORK MARKET OPENS IN HIGH GEAR, NUMBERS EXCEED MANDATORY 200 AS REQUIRED BY PRESIDENT MUSEVENI

Kabagarame market a greater western Uganda pork market yesterday opened in high gear as thousands converged to enjoy pork after 8 months of closure.
The great lovers of Kabagarame have been yearning for its opening and felt they lacked a lot from the national pork market.
However, alcohol which had been banned from the pork market was carried by customers and the sellers of pork could not stop them in any way.
Most people were seen without masks on which arose many questions about the safety of the people from Corona virus while at the market.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter John Barugahaare the Ruharo Ward councilor who also works in the market said that the price of pork has also been increased from 12000 to 15000 shillings.
Excited Barugahaare told www.mknewslink.com that they will now be able to pay school fees for their children in candidate classes, pay loans and resume saving in their village banks.
Kabagarame is a weekly market where pork is sold alongside other food stuffs such as Millet bread and Matooke plus drinks like sodas on every Saturday
Douglas Rwamutojo candidate for Kyeitembe ward youth councillorship appreciated the opening of Kabagarame pork market as one way of boosting the lives of people in different ways.
